Description

The Rollei XF 35 was originally designed for 1.35V mercury batteries (PX625). Since these are no longer available, 1.4V zinc-air batteries (type 675 from the drugstore) offer the best replacement for accurate exposure metering. The problem: they are significantly smaller than the original.

We specially designed this battery compartment cover to precisely center the smaller 675 cell and apply the necessary pressure. You save yourself expensive special adapters or unreliable DIY fixes with aluminum foil. Just put the cover on, insert the battery, and shoot.
